But their biggest stand-outs are the acting, especially the star of the show,Mia Goth, whose performance as the ambitious anti-hero Maxine and the unhinged, tragic villain Pearl has been praised asone of the most compelling of any horror movie. Overall, this is a spectacular trilogy that’s scary at points and widely impressive.
