Was ‘Final Destination 3’ a Box Office Hit?
The third installment in theFinal Destinationfranchisemight’ve underwhelmed critics, but that was nothing new for movies of such bloodthirsty taste in the mid-noughties. At the box office, the film proved much more successful, proving once again thathorror might just be the best genre to turn small budgets into financial fortune. On a reported $25 million production budget,Final Destination 3earned an impressive$112 million globally, split between a $54 million domestic haul and a further $58 million from overseas markets. This total makes the film the third-worst performing in the franchise’s history in financial terms, ahead of the first two movies and behind the subsequent three.
Final Destination 3is currently streaming on Tubi. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for more streaming stories.
