In anticipation of the Blu-ray and DVD release ofCall Me by Your Nameon March 13th, we here at Collider are happy to share a clip from one of the bonus features included on the release, “In Conversation with Armie Hammer, Timothée Chalamet, Michael Stuhlbarg & Luca Guadagnino.” This feature is a lengthy Q&A with the aforementionedCall Me by Your Namecast members and the film’s director, and in this clip Guadagnino reveals how he first got involved with the project while Hammer tells a funny story about theverylong wait between his first meeting with Hammer and when he got the part inCall Me by Your Name.

It’s the summer of 1983 in Italy, and Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet), a precocious 17-year-old, spends his days in his family’s villa transcribing and playing classical music and reading. Elio’s sophistication and intellectual gifts suggest he is already a fully-fledged adult, there is much that yet remains innocent and unformed about him.

One day, Oliver (Armie Hammer), a charming American scholar arrives as the annual summer intern tasked with helping Elio’s father, an eminent professor.
