Marvel has released aCaptain America: Civil Warinternational trailer online. DirectedJoeandAnthony Russo(Captain America: The Winter Soldier), the first film of Marvel’s Phase Three slate picks up whereAvengers: Age of Ultronleft off asChris Evans’ Steve Rogers leads a new team of Avengers. After another international incident involving the superpowered team results in collateral damage, the government—and former Avengers member Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)—begins to meddle with their practices, all the while a new villainous threat looms.
This Japanese trailer only features a few new shots (if that), but it’s still effective, and the movie remains one of my most-anticipated films of 2016. I never thought Cap would become one of my favorite superheroes, but that’s what these films and Chris Evans’ performance have done. He’s the Superman of the 21st century.
