The cast ofStar Wars Rebelsis in the midst of adelightful rewatch podcast, and one of the stars of the series just got a new figure to celebrate. Hot Toys has unveiled a new Chopper figure based on his look in theStar Warsanimated series, but not one with his signature orange paint job. This new figure features his red, gray, and black Imperial disguise paint job, but there’s an extra surprise to go along with it. The famous droid of Cal Kestis (Cameron Monaghan) from theStar Wars Jedigames, BD-1, was also given a new Hot Toys figure, and similar to Chopper, it shows the droid in all black and red, looking ready to infiltrate an Imperial base. These two new figures come as part of a set that’s now available for pre-order.
As the latest Star Wars Disney+ series,Andor, officially comes to a close, Hot Toys has released a batch of new Star Wars figures to celebrate its conclusion. In addition to the new Chopper and BD-1 figures,Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi was given a collectible based on his appearance inAttack of the Clones. Hot Toys has also given two new figures to Darth Vader, one based on his appearance at the end ofRevenge of the Sithwhen he first takes up the mantle of the Sith Lord, and another deluxe edition figure based on his time in the film that includes more features.Rogue Oneis the film that warranted the creation ofAndor, and while Vader does not show up in the series, his presence is still felt throughout the galaxy.
Is There Another ‘Star Wars Jedi’ Game Coming Out?
It was announced all the way back in 2023 that a thirdStar Wars Jedigame starringCameron Monaghan as Cal Kestiswas in the works, but updates and details about the game have been silent for a while now. The studio did confirm not long ago, after a large round of layoffs, that work on the game would continue, and that it was just as dedicated to raising the bar and producing a quality product. No word yet on a potential title or release date, and no footage has been revealed.
