The streaming platform mentioned thatCrosshas officially become the third-biggest season premiere of the year. The only productions that have managed to score bigger viewership numbers than the book adaptation have beenFalloutandThe Rings of Power. Considering how big the other Prime Video series were, the success of the crime thriller comes as a surprise.

After the murder of his wife, the detective is obsessed with understanding the mind of a killer. The Success of ‘Cross’
While the first installment ofCrosshas proven to be successful for Prime Video, this isn’t the first time someone has tried to bring the complicated detective from the page to the screen. The fact that multiple adaptations of the novels have been produced means that audiences can’t get enough of the determined agent. Time will tell how far Alexander Cross will be able to go in his journey on Prime Video.
