As perPEOPLE, the six-episodeseason will follow Berk supporting his clients as they sort through the clutter in their homesand appraise their precious items.

WWE starJohn Cenaserves as the executive producer forJunk or Jackpot?, and according to the wrestler-turned-actor, the show was inspired by a conversation with his friends. “People often wonder if their collections are trash or treasure, and this show will help them find out,” added Cena. While speaking about the show, Berk shared his passion for collecting and acknowledged how easy it is to get carried away with hoarding items that end up cluttering a home. He explained that the upcoming show allows him to create “reimagined spaces” for his clients while still honoring the valuable collections they hold dear. Thismarks the interior designer’s first solo venture with HGTVafter starring as a guest judge onRock the Blockback in April 2025.

During a recent episode of theNetworth & Chillpodcast, Berk opened up about what really led to him bidding farewell toQueer Eye.
The reality starshared thathe was actuallylosing money on the first two seasonsof the Netflix series. “They were paying us basically nothing,” admitted Berk, while sharing that he was barely left with any time for him to run his interior design company. The future HGTV host shared that he had to be away from his business for months due to filming and press obligations, and confessed that it wasn’t until Season 3 and 4 that he started breaking even.

While his time onQueer Eyemay not always have been a dream for the designer, we can’t wait to see what Berk pulls off in his new series.
