The firstJohn Wick 2images have arrived, and they may be met with a mix of excitement and dread.Keanu Reevesreprises his role as everyone’s favorite vengeful assassin inJohn Wick: Chapter 2, which expands the world ofJohn Wickto further explore the network of hotels established in the first movie. In one of these debut images, we see that Wick has himself a new canine companion, but considering the awful fate that befell his puppy in the first movie, I am not exactly enthused to find out what happens to the dog this time around.
John Wickwas the definition of a surprise hit when it was released in 2014, as the film was barely on anyone’s radar leading up to its release, only to become a solid word-of-mouth success. Veteran stunt coordinators/second unit directorsChad StahelskiandDavid Leitchmade their directorial debut with a film that had the momentum of a firecracker, pulsing with giddy fist fights, gun fights, and verbal sparring.
Stahelski is working solo this time around, but the cast has expanded to includeCommonandRuby Rose, withIan McShane,John Leguizamo, andLance Reddickreprising their roles from the first movie.
