After directorJames Mangoldrevealed thefirst photoofHugh Jackman’s last run as Wolverine, the actor himself announced the firstLogantrailer will arrive tomorrow. As a little taste, Jackman posted a minute snippet of footage to Instagram, but what’s intriguing is that, much like allthe promotional photosand first look images released thus far, the teaser is in black and white. Might that also extend to the film itself?

Whenconfirmingthe R rating and a Western vibe forLogan, X-Men movie producerSimon Kinbergsaid of the third Wolverine film: “It’s just a very cool, different film.” A black-and-white color palette is certainly “different” for the superhero genre, which typically embraces the vibrant hues of the comics on which they’re based. Mangold breathed new life into the Wolverine character, so there’s faith that this could be something special.
