When Apple unveiled the Vision Pro in early 2024 it felt like the first true “post-iPhone” device—an unabashedly futuristic headset that swapped the familiar touch screen for eye-tracking, hand gestures, and an ultra-sharp micro-OLED display. While from the outside Stiller’s got a loving wife (Jenna Fischer) and a great life, he’s actually miserable. And the main reason is that he keeps comparing himself to his old college friends (Luke Wilson,Michael Sheen,Jemaine Clementand Mike White) who appear to be far more successful via their social media feeds....

Another addition is coming to the cast of the upcoming action-comedy movieFreelance. AsDeadlinereveals exclusively,Christian Slateris joining previously announced cast membersJohn Cena(Peacemaker),Alison Brie(Promising Young Woman), andJuan Pablo Raba(The 33) to tell the story of a retired Army officer who decides to take on a freelance gig after getting bored with his uneventful life. The movie is currently filming in Colombia. Even though Slater’s character in the movie hasn’t been disclosed, we have a pretty good picture of what the action-adventure may play out like, based on Brie and Cena’s roles....

Disney has always been known as a family-friendly entertainment medium. However, the advocacy group,Parents Television and Media Council(PTC), have cried foul over Disney+’s decision to add its first-ever R-rated films to its U.S. catalog. The additions includeDeadpool,Deadpool 2,andLogan.Tim Winter, the conservative group’s president, criticized the Walt Disney Company for apparently straying away from its usual “family-focused” content, breaking its alleged promise made years ago –2018 and 2019, in particular–that “edgier adult fare” would stream on Hulu, while materials tailored for kids would stream on Disney+....
