In the first five minutes ofJeff Rosenberg’sWe Broke Up, his lead characters have fulfilled the promise of the title. From there, the conflict comes from pretending they’re still a couple so they can gut out a weekend at a wedding. The problem for Rosenberg’s movie is that it never adds any specificity to its central characters, so we don’t know what we’re supposed to care about beyond this is a long-term relationship coming to a close....
