Any television enthusiast knows that when it comes to bad shows, there’s a wide spectrum of “bad” possible. There are the ineptly made shows, the ones where you wonder if anyone involved had ever sat down to watch an episode of anything ever. Meanwhile, there is the enjoyably bad television that happily crosses the line into camp, where the basic experience of watching and poking fun provides enough entertainment to justify the show’s existence....

Despite showing some promise on Saturday, August 17 with a haul of $1 million nationwide, these Sunday figures relegate the movie to acategory of Box Office strugglersthat many may not have predicted. Astonishingly, bothDespicable Me 4andInside Out 2had better Sunday figures thanBorderlands, despite the former being in theaters since July 3 and the latter since June 14....

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch the ups and downs, and all of the triumph and heartache that’s come with being a fan of the TV seriesKingdom. It introduced the world to a family of characters with seemingly endless flaws that made them undeniably and painfully human, and the tragedy that they’ve all endured made the victories that much sweeter. The material is something that everyone who had a hand in it can be proud of, and as a viewer, I’ll only be sorry that we couldn’t spend more time following the lives of this group of some the most complex and fascinating characters, in the hopes that maybe someday they could all find their happy ending....

Today a new trailer and poster have been released for the upcoming filmLast Looks, starringCharlie Hunnam(Sons of Anarchy) andMel Gibson(Braveheart). Yes, the Alamo Drafthouse chain of theaters recently filed for bankruptcy, and yes, that is a giant bummer. But as COVID-19 vaccinations ramp up across the country and more movie theaters re-open their doors in a safer way (though still, please, I encourage you to not go to a movie theater until you are fully vaccinated), the Alamo Drafthouse is doing their part to help theater chains across the country.
