Columbia Pictures has released the firstOnce Upon a Time in Hollywoodposter, offering a new look at the ninth film from writer/directorQuentin Tarantino, and one has to wonder if a trailer isn’t far behind. Or more specifically, Columbia Pictures has released the first poster for “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” as it’s officially presented. The original film takes place in 1969 and starsLeonardo DiCaprioas the star of a famous Western TV series who’s trying to find his place in a rapidly changing Hollywood landscape alongside his trusty stunt double, played byBrad Pitt....

Today,Raquel Welchis acknowledged as one of the best known sex symbolsof the 20th century. Her sex symbol status was solidified by her role inOne Million Years B.C.in 1966, an adventure fantasy film in which dinosaurs and cavemen dwell amongst each other. Welch’s character Loana appears in a famous fur bikini, which quickly became something of a cultural phenomenon in the late 1960s. Described in retrospect as a definitive look of the era, the actress becoming a symbol of sex and femininity by way of a role in a deeply fictional and ahistorical fantasy vehicle spoke more to the era’s still-restrictive and patriarchal roles for women, even as the counterculture movement of the decade was well underway....

The future of theStar Warsfranchise is starting to come into focus. It’s hard to believe we’re now five years removed from Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm, which subsequently spawned a new trilogy ofStar Warsmovies that began withThe Force Awakensas well as the creation of anthology-like spinoff films, which began withRogue One: A Star Wars Story. But asEpisode IX’s 2019 release looms closer, Lucasfilm and Disney are starting to look to how this franchise will continue once the story of Rey, Finn, etc....

Not only were new details released about upcoming companions, but information abouta new spinoff was also revealed. Lucasfilm has released a new and final trailer forStar Wars: The Force Awakens, directorJ.J.
