Grammy-winning jazz artistGregory Porterguest stars asGeorge Washington Carverin “The Peanut Problem”, which premieres nationwide on PBS KIDS, January 8th (check local listings) to mark the inventor’s traditional birthday, the exact date of which is unknown. In the episode, Peg and her loyal sidekick Cat visit George Washington Carver in his laboratory where he’s created 100 peanut-based inventions. Following its premiere, the episode will also be available for free onpbskids.organd via the PBS KIDS Video App, and it will be available on the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and live stream!

‘Peppa Pig’ Special “Father Christmas” Arrives Today on Nick Jr.!
The premiere of thePeppa Pigspecial “Father Christmas” will arrive on Nick Jr. Channel on Sunday December 17that 6pm as part of Super FanSunday! The special will be a part of thePeppa Pigmarathon running from 2-7pm. The episode will then go into rotation on Nick Jr. Channel before airing on Nickelodeon on Christmas Day at 9am to close out the holiday season.
The special features a fun new “Peppasode” called “Father Christmas” that finds Peppa and the rest of her playgroup very excited to put on a big Christmastime show for all the Mummys and Daddys. While Danny Dog is dressed up as Santa, Peppa and her friends get a surprise visit from Father Christmas himself!
Along with “Father Christmas,” the seasonal special also includes four additional stories full of laughter and holiday hijinks:
