First up, the Millennium Falcon. Rey piloted it to Ahch-To in search of Luke Skywalker at the end ofStar Wars: The Force Awakens. We pick up here as Luke and the battle-scarred ship are reunited.

But the ship doesn’t appear to stay on Ahch-To all that long. It’s been seen rocketing through the interior of the mineral-rich planet Crait, pursued by a swarm of T.I.E. Fighters. As the new trailer shows, the Falcon bursts through the crust of Crait, showering the surface with red rocks and dust in order to (presumably) engage the First Order forces aboveground. In what may be either a solid edit or a misdirection, the Falcon (piloted by Chewbacca and a Porg…?) appears to blast a T.I.E. Fighter. This gets a great reaction from Finn, who is piloting aResistance ski speederacross the salty surface.
Meanwhile, General Leia looks on at the ongoing battle, but whether it’s this battle or another threat remains to be seen.

The Dark Side is much more impressive in these early looks thanks to the blood-red aesthetic that’s going on. Just imagine walking into this throne room to meet with Supreme Leader Snoke while Hux and the Praetorian Guard look on. Terrifying.
Kylo Ren. Still fiery.
Perhaps the most intriguing aspect ofStar Wars: The Last Jediis the relationship between Luke Skywalker and Rey. We don’t get much more insight from this new trailer, but these two shots were particularly striking.
