There has been a lot of speculation aboutArrowSeason 5. We know that it will include at least oneformer WWE star, and that there’s going to bea lot of violenceat the start of it. Craig Byrne recently wrote a piece for us about howArrowcanreturn to greatness by embracing its past, which is something starStephen Amellechoed recently in an interview with EW, saying:
“Even thoughSupergirlis joining the ranks, there’s no new person or new show to introduce this year, and I think as a result of that, we need to get back to focusing more on some of the core elements that used to defineArrow,” he continued. “To me, that’s hand-to-hand combat, no superpowers, and dealing with the job of cleaning up Star City.”
Amell also teased recently in a Facebook post that him being shirtless in the new season’s premiere meant that he had to get back into shape immediately, and looking at this image he posted on his Twitter account today, he has certainly bulked back up to fightin’ weight. But more importantly, what is with that hair? Does it signify more flashback wigs, or perhaps it’s a flashfoward wig? Either way, it looks a heck of a lot better than the wigs we’ve seen on the show in the past.

Though we’ve been told thatArrowis not necessarily going to be affected by Barry Allen’s timeline changes that happened inThe Flash’s finale (which doesn’t make any sense since they’re a shared universe, but ok), there’s a hope that the show will use Season 5 as an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and getArrowback to the show we all loved to begin with.
