Warner Bros. on Tuesday announced that the film adaptation ofDennis Lehane’snovel will now hit select theaters on Christmas Day before it’s already pre-dated release on January 13th. Simmonsat the press event forThe Accountant, where he mentioned the set visit he did onJustice Leagueearlier this summer.Simmons spoke about his first day on set, which took place on the rooftop of police headquarters and featured Gordon conversing with the entire Justice League. He said he was excited about the whole universe and it has been a fun experience.

The first trailer has been released forGet Out, the new horror/thriller written and directed byJordan Peele, one-half of the comedy duoKey & Peele. The movie tells the story of Chris and his girlfriend Rose on a weekend getaway to meet her parents where Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship. As the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined. The movie is set to hit theatres on February 24th.
According to Variety,Rachel McAdamswill joinRachel WeiszinDisobedience, a film based on the novel byNaomi Alderman. The movie tells the story of Ronit Krushka, a 32-year-old woman who returns to her Orthodox Jewish home after her father died, where she upsets the community when she rekindles a past love for her best friend, who is now married to her cousin. Weisz will play Ronit and McAdams will play her friend. Production is set for an early 2017 start.
