Jenelle Evans has been entertainingTeen Momfans for over a decade with her drama-filled life. But her antics on social media have reached a breaking point, andit’s her kids that are paying the price.Jenelle is currently living in Las Vegas with her three kids – Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley – after relocating last yearamid her divorce from David Eason, which remains ongoing. She’s been eating up the buzz her divorce drama created and showing off her new life on socials, which includes her manager-turned-boyfriend, August Keen.
Jenelle also hasn’t hesitated to feature her kids on her socials during some concerning moments. With millions of followers across platforms, Jenelle is exposing her kids for the world to see. Despite backlash, Jenelle continues to prioritize clout and financial gain above all, and doesn’t seem to understand why some fans are worried for her kids. If she doesn’t stop, then someone needs to intervene.

Jenelle’s Recent Social Media Exploits
“Kaiser was at the park and basically some group of kids came up to him and they roughed him up a little and threw him off the bike and stole his bike. And they also took his money that he had in his wallet which was like fifty bucks,” August said.
He claims they called the police and re-visited the park so Kaiser could walk them through what happened. “The police advised us to go to local middle schools and high schools and look at the bike racks to see if one of the kids rode the bikes to school,” August continued.

Following August’s comments,Jenelle faced backlash on social media for making the situation public. There was concern that one of August and Jenelle’s first instincts was to post about it online, not comfort Kaiser. “Dang Jenelle, I like you, but this is monetizing your child,” one person wrote on a Facebook post Jenelle made talking about the robbery. Another FB user questioned, “Why is she using this for content?”
‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry’s Co-Parenting Drama With Ex Spirals Into Chaos
“Your hate for another parent outweighs your love for your children.”
Jenelle faced criticism a few months ago for a separate incident involving Kaiser. The16 and Pregnantalum revealed online she wastaking her middle child to live with his paternal grandmotherin a different state. Kaiser apparently didn’t know he was going to be staying with her indefinitely until Jenelle left. However, the reality star clearly regretted her decision, as she went back to retrieve her son within a few days after the online backlash.
Jenelle’s other children haven’t been spared from having their business shared online, either. Her oldest son, Jace, has beeninfamously running away from homefor several years. It’s part of why his grandmother Barbara finally gave custody back to Jenelle, after being his guardian for years. When he was reported missing for the second time in one month,Jenelle went online to defend her parenting, saying she shouldn’t be blamed for her son’s bad behavior.
“A lot of my son’s actions [are] being pinned against me and I’m getting a lot of hate, a lot of comments… My son has been having a hard time for the past two, three years.”

Ironically,Jenelle said she was trying to keep things offline, though she was effectively sharing Jace’s business at the same time. “None of this has gone public because we’re trying to keep his privacy.”
In a more recent update, it appearsJace was removed from Jenelle’s custodyafter a nasty fight. The reality star made a 911 call, in which she said she was scared for her other kids with Jace in the house. While he’s reportedly being cared for somewhere safe, he’s seemingly no longer in Jenelle’s house, though that’s one subject she hasn’t commented on (and may be legally barred from doing so).
Jenelle Knows the Harm Social Media Can Do
Jenelle should know better than to expose her kids online, considering what she’s been through. She’s been sharing her life publicly since she was a teenager. While the fame fromTeen Momcreated many opportunities, especially financial ones, there are consequences to fame. Not only hasJenelle’s every move and mistake been documented, but they’ve also been open to public criticism, andTeen Momfans have rarely been kind to her online.
In addition to backlash and hateful comments, Jenelle has had her fair share of trolls, which can’t be easy to deal with. Her haters have gone so far as tointervene in brand dealsand get her collabs canceled. It could be argued that the negative publicity Jenelle has endured has contributed to her struggles – and it could be why she chose to seclude herself on a huge property with David Eason for many years during her hiatus fromTeen Mom.
On multiple occasions, Jenelle has discussed the impact of dealing with hate online, insisting it has hurt her mental health. “Bye Twitter, everyone hates me. Depression sucks and you’ve got what you wanted. Hope you’re happy. Just keep writing about me, but I’m out,” she said in 2019 whenannouncing a short-lived breakfrom TikTok.
But by not shielding her kids from social media,Jenelle is putting them in the same situation. It’s true that she can’t control what people say online, and she’s not responsible for the hateful comments people make. But she does have control over how much her kids are online. Any time she posts about them, she’s opening them up to the same critics, haters, and trolls she says have hurt her so badly.
‘Teen Mom’ Daughter Leah Shirley Has Officially Taken a Side in Her Parents' Fallout
Leah Shirley finally breaks her silence on social media regarding her estranged relationship with her mother.
Even if the comments around Jenelle’s kids aren’t hurtful per se – bullying children isn’t the same as leaving a comment about questionable parenting – Jenelle is still taking a piece of her kids’ privacy away every time they’re mentioned online. Her kids already have a digital footprint by virtue of Jenelle being a celebrity.
There’s so much more Jenelle could be doing to protect her children’s privacy online. Instead, she seems more concerned with staying relevant and making a quick buck online. And if she thinks a post about her kid will go viral, she seems willing to make it, even if it could have long-term consequences for her kids. Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley may have been born on TV – literally, their births were filmed – but they’ve never consented to having their entire personal lives spilled online for entertainment.
If Jenelle doesn’t respect their privacy online, then someone should, if that’s even possible. Whether it’s acourt-ordered mandate to keep her kids off socials, or platforms like Meta take a stand and restrict her account if it features minors, something needs to change. Jace’s father recently came back into his life after many years of being MIA, while Kaiser and Ensely’s dads live out-of-state and appear to have limited contact, so they may not be able to advocate for their kids. But MTV has an influence - so long as it’s giving Jenelle a platform, it’s funding her lifestyle. Requesting that Jenelle be stricter with her kids online or else she risks her place on the show could do the trick, but MTV isn’t known to move a finger unless it’s in their best interest. So long as the network isn’t legally liable for Jenelle’s online antics, they may not care what she posts if it’s bringing in views forTeen Mom.
