Over six months after getting a renewal, one of Fox’s most brutal crime dramas finally has a return date.TV Insiderhas learned thatSeason 4 ofThe Cleaning Ladypremieres Tuesday, March 25 at 8/7c. In the new chapter, Thony (Élodie Yung) has a new job and a new position in Jorge’s (Santiago Cabrera) cartel, whileKate Del Castillowill return as Ramona following her arrest in last season’s finale. There’s even more exciting news about the cast coming up in a bit; however, it doesn’t appear thatLiza WeilorBrandon Jay McLarenwill return.
The Cleaning Ladywas renewedfor a fourth season in May 2024, amid Season 3’s run, which ended with such an unexpected twist. Of course, fans can expect Season 4 to provide some much-needed answers, but at the same time, a few additions have been made —in the form ofDaniel BonjourandAlain Uy. These two havejoined the cast in new recurring roles, as confirmed last November.
According to the character description, Bonjour will play Dr. Dupont, “an overworked attending physician at a clinic serving one of Las Vegas’ poorest neighborhoods” who emigrated from France years ago because doctors here make more money than they do anywhere else in the world — at least that’s the reason he gives publicly. Uy, on the other hand, plays Feng, who is “wryly observant but with a dangerous side.” He is also skilled at running elaborate schemes for the Asian mob and has become an asset to international crime bosses worldwide.
Thony Has A New Job in ‘The Cleaning Lady’ Season 4
As expected, thisnew season ofThe Cleaning Ladywill continue its exploration of the experience of undocumented immigrants and the challenges they face in this country. Similar to past seasons, it will highlight these immigrants’ resourcefulness in the face of institutional adversity and the sacrifices they must make to achieve their American Dream. Speaking ofwhat’s in store for Thonyin particular, in Season 4, she makes the bold decision to take charge of her own destiny after three installments of being a pawn caught between the FBI and the world of organized crime. Per the season’s official description, she does this by exchanging her cleaning lady uniform for the scrubs of a surgical intern at a small community hospital. Thony’s return to the medical career she sacrificed for her son, Luca (Khalen Roman Sanchez), opens a new path to citizenship for them both. But in order to make this happen, she must continue her service to the Sin Cara cartel — not as a cleaning lady, but as the new mob doctor — bringing her ever closer to Jorge, the cartel’s brooding new leader.
