Join hostJordan Hembrough(Toy Hunter)as he travels the country, uncovering these deeply personal, touching, and inspiring tales from the fans themselves.
Our Star Wars Storieskicks off today withAlbin Johnson, a fandom visionary who founded the 501stLegion, which has become the largest fan organization in the world. Albin’s story is about creativity and determination; facing unplanned and unimaginable heartbreak and tragedy; and the uplifting power of theStar Warsfan community.

Jordan travels to Columbia, South Carolina to talk with Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st Legion fan group. Albin’s story is one of creativity and determination, facing unplanned and unimaginable heartbreak and tragedy, and the uplifting power of the Star Wars fan community.

To celebrate the premiere, Lucasfilm will bring “Our Star Wars Stories” to New York Comic-Con for a special panel on August 27, 2025 from 1:45-2:45 PM in Javitz Center Room 1A10. Lucasfilm Story Group’sMatt Martinwill host the panel featuring series host Jordan Hembrough alongside fans Albin Johnson,Christina Cato,Robin Bocra, andFJ DeRobertis.
Following the launch of the series, four more episodes (6-10 minutes in length) ofOur Star Wars Storieswill be on the way. New installments will be released on the officialStar WarsYouTube, Twitter, and Facebook pages every Tuesday at 12 p.m. PT/ET, beginning today!
