Hiatus season also means waiting with bated breath for renewal season, for shows that are still in limbo. This can be said for fans ofThe Wheel of Time. Season 3 concluded last month in an explosive and shocking way. Now, fans are waiting for the official renewal for Season 4 of Prime Video’s popular fantasy series and an entire campaign has launched in support of it. Organizers of the campaign’s messaging is simply just“Thank you for this incredible show. Please give us more.”The campaign consists of a few different ways fans can show support to urge the studio to renew the fantasy series.

“We know renewals depend on a lot of factors,” one organizer explains, “and maybe it just hasn’t been announced yet.By showing the studios how much we appreciate the show and want more, we are either validating a decision already made, or giving them a helpful nudge.”

This Isn’t the First Elaborate Fan Campaign for a Prime Video Series

Last summer, after the cancellation of the Prime Video seriesMy Lady Jane, the fans immediately jumped in,starting a Change.org petitionthat was even featured by the company. The television series starringEmily BaderandEdward Blumel, was based on the book byBrodi Ashton,Cynthia Hand, andJodi Meadows. It has amassed more than 117,000 signatures and counting since launching last summer. The demand for the show to be revived even included support fromGame of ThronesauthorGeorge RR Martin. In addition to the petition, the fan campaign even went so far as to mail thousands of tiny horses to the Prime Video studios.

The story ofThe Wheel of Time, based on the book series by Robert Jordan, is far from over. While the shocking death ofSiuan Sanche (Sophie Okonedo)was a change from the books, showrunnerRafe Judkinssays the potential Season 4, which will continue to adapt the Jordan’s works, “leaves us with this vacuum moving into season 4 of who’s going to step in and fill that place.” The season leaves off with a power vacuum and then some, with Rand declaring himself Car’a’carn and seeking out an army within the Aiel to further fulfill his prophecy as the Dragon Reborn,as well as other big questionsthat have yet to be answered. The series certainly has both critical and fan support for a fourth season, with Season 3 sporting a 97% Certified Fresh Critics Score and an 83% Audience Scoreon Rotten Tomatoes.
