She jokingly said she’d only accept a real proposal if it happened in a haunted house—and to her surprise, he delivered. ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Star Brian Lovvorn Doesn’t Have Instagram

Despite being a huge part of Amy’s life, youwon’t find Brian on Instagram. Unlike Amy, Brian appears to keep his life mostly private – his personal Facebook page is for friends and family only. This might be for the best, as they’ve already been facing public scrutiny about their relationship. In September 2024,Amy was arrestedat a Tennessee safari park after being treated for a camel bite, leading to charges of drug possession and child endangerment when police found marijuana and other substances in her car with her two young children present. She later accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of simple drug possession in exchange for the child endangerment charges being dropped. Amy received a suspended sentence, fines, and was ordered to complete a drug assessment and parenting classes. Brian, who was with her at the time, faced similar charges and also took a plea deal.

Despite the drama, the couple continue to move forward in their relationship and Amy has considered reversing her tubal ligation procedure,much to the dismay of her family.Amanda HaltermanandChris Combs, Amy’s siblings, believe that their relationship is simply moving too quickly; she needs to take a step back and think about what Brian is asking. As internet sleuths have pointed out, Brian also shares children with his ex-wife. Earlier this month, Amy shared aneight-minute-long TikTokof them attending Cirque Italia with Gage and Glenn, and they look like any other happy family.

New cast, same concept… and some viewers are over it.

Since losing weight, Amy and her sister havedealt with theirfair share of men fetishizing them. This has led to some sketchy and short-lived relationships over the years. Naturally, fans aren’t keen on Amy bringing a new man around her kids and moving that quickly. She initiallyseparated from husband Michael Haltermanin 2023 after four years of marriage, then, in March 2023,Michael filed for divorce and a messy legal battle began. Amy filed an emergency protective order against Michael for her and their sons, claiming Michael was violent. After dropping the charges, he filed a separate civil restraining order himself. Amy and Michael finalized their divorce, with Amy obtaining primary custody of their sons. Michael has supervised visitation rights on weekends.

It’s still too early to tell where Amy and Brian’s relationship is headed, but from what we’ve seen thus far on1000-Lb. Sisters, they at least seem to share common interests because they’re both huge fans of horror and have similar music tastes.
